Please list MFD as your Pick-N-Save WE CARE charity #: 500750 . Then MFD will receive a cash rebate when you use your Advantage Plus Card (Plus, use & sell SCRIP to pay for groceries too!)

MFD SCRIP
All profits (before any applicable taxes) earned by your efforts will be credited to your swimmer's MFD SCRIP account to help offset club costs.

Shady Lane Plant Coupons thru Linda : $10 Each = 25% Profit –(ONLY for the full amount & ONLY for regular priced merchandise) . They are family owned & have long supported MFD. In FALL: Poinsettias, Fresh-cut Christmas Trees, Flocking SPRING: Annuals, Perennials, etc.

Fundraisers:

Theses items make GREAT gifts!! (These products usually cost more when purchased direct online with the added cost of shipping. So, customers benefit when they buy from us too!) FYI: The club has an initial 25 item TOTAL ORDER minimum for 2011
• Racine Danish Kringle (www.kringle.com) - Profits vary - see email that will be sent. (last year $2.75 profit/kringle). You also have the option of selling the Full line which includes pizza, cookie dough, cheesecakes, etc.

OTHER TEAM FUNDRAISERS:

FYI for Parents:These offer an opportunity for us to earn money to help offset increases from the Menomonee Falls Rec Dept. We are an affiliate of the Rec Dept and they charge us for Pool Rental, Facility Use, & Janitorial Expenses that they often increase after we make our budget. Plus, funds Team

Sales of MFD Logo Stadium Chairs:

Sale starts on Sept 6th. Cost per chair is $40 for Regular Size ( 15.5" x 17"W x 14.5"H)  and for $50 for Deluxe Size ( 20.5" x 13" x 16") +$5 extra to have each seat personalized.  Sit on them and see flyer at parent meeting for details. Orders & money due by Sept 20 th with delivery in October.  

Sales of Swim Suits at the Pool

Julie Emery, through her family’s business, Emery’s Bike & Fitness, is the Official Sponsor of MFD & our Speedo suit supplier. Julie Emery sells practice suits periodically at the pool (see MFD calendar for dates). These suits are discounted for our team. (Look at the price on the tag!!) For every suit sold Emerys donates $5 back to the team. So, please help support MFD & Emery’s by buying your practice suits at the pool!

Occasional Restaurant Nights:

Restaurant nights generally work through a flyer/coupon promotion. On a specific date & time period, any customer who comes in with our flyer/coupon will have a percentage of their meal (before taxes) donated to MFD. After the event, the restaurant computes the total sales with coupons and sends a check directly to the team. These flyers/coupons will be distributed at the pool and via email approximately 2-4 weeks prior to the event. Your job is to promote these nights & try to attend yourself. PLUS, You can often SELL SCRIP & earn profits for your individual account too! So both the team & individual families can directly benefit from participating and promoting these nights to friends, family, neighbors & co-workers!!

Shady Lane Fall Festival & other Bake/Food Sales:
MFD sells food during Shady Lane’s Fall Festival and at other venues throughout the year. We provide the food & then need workers to run the booth during the event.

Fall/Spring Car Washes:
These will be announced as they are planned. We need to have a parent/ adult accompany each girl. This adult will be their daughter’s chaperone & should plan to help!

Show Week Raffle:
MFD plans to purchase a raffle license again this year. The raffles generate excitement and are just one more way to offset fees! Each girl has to provide a donation worth a minimum of $20. A list of team themes will come out after spring break. However, if your business or work connections can help us that would be great… like with extra tickets to events, gift cards, etc…please let us know.The more donations = more money we can make!! Donations needed for show week in Spring! We’re making you aware of this now, so that if you find some great deal buy it for the Raffle! If you &/or your daughter LOVE it, then other people probably will too! The better the items = the more money the team makes.

MFD Booth at Independence Day Celebration in July @ Germantown’s Firemen's Park:

For the last several years we have run the Corn Roast tent at the event. Last year, we also added Cotton Candy and Hawaiian Ice to our booth. This is our biggest TEAM fundraiser of the year & helps keeps YOUR costs down. Please plan on working & eating at the event if you’re in town. This includes swimmers who are age 15 and above. Your extended family: Friends, Aunts, Uncles, & Grandparents are needed & welcome to help too!
